Dr. Luma established her practice in 2008; only 2 years after starting to practice dentistry in 2006, she moved out on her own in 2008 and started her practice. Dr. Luma attended Oakland University before receiving her Doctorate in 2004 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in Michigan, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS).
After graduation, she joined the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at UDM School of Dentistry in partnership with St. John Riverview Hospital, which provided her with advanced knowledge and skills that enabled her to perform evidence-based, comprehensive oral care ethically and proficiently on a wide range of patient populations.
Dr. Luma is constantly attending Continuing Dental Education programs that provide the best up-to-date knowledge and advancement in the dental field that ensures maintaining the highest quality standards, cutting-edge dental technology, and constantly updated techniques that utilize the latest dental research and studies.
In 2011 Dr. Luma joined Midwestern University School of Dentistry as an adjunct faculty. Dr. Luma enjoys mentoring dental students in their journey to become future dentists. Dr. Luma is an American Dental Association (ADA), CDS, and ISDS member.
